Course content
1. Muslim art (Nasr art) 2. Late Gothic (Isabelle style) and Renaissance (plateresco and Escorial) 3. Golden century: Baroque architecture, particularities of Spanish sculpture 4. Masters of painting in 17th century: Ribera, Zurbarán, Velázquéz, Murillo 5. Neoclassicism and Goya

Learning activities and teaching methods
Learning outcomes
Course discusses basic phases of Spanish art from end of 15th century up to beginning of 19 th century, starting with Muslim art (art in Granada). It complements historical knowledge about visual Spanish culture (architecture, sculpture and painting). Course is concentrated on presentation of main Spanish styles and monuments, which have general cultural meaning, and takes notes of principal artists, mainly especially from the golden century (Churriguera, Ribera, Zurbarán, Velázquez, Murillo, Goya etc.) and artistic centres (Granada, Sevilla, Madrid, Toledo, Valencie etc.).
Graduate is acquainted with art of the country, which from 15th to 19th century had a very important role in art history, including touches with Muslim world and America.
Subject is designated for students of Bachelor study of History of Fine Arts.
