Key learning outcomes The study prepares specialists in analytical chemistry. Students gain the theoretical and practical knowledge in various fields of analytical chemistry which enable them to develop and optimise analytical methods. The knowledge is based on mathematics, physics and the other chemical branches. In the framework of optional subjects, students can deepen their knowledge in a chosen discipline. The study is directed at the development of independent thinking, creative work and the ability to defend your opinion in professional discussion. Graduates in analytical chemistry are educated specialists who meet the demands of industry, agriculture and medicine or who can work in the applied or basic research. They are able to independently solve analytical problems and develop and apply appropriate analytical methods. The ability to communicate in all science fields is also developed. Students are prepared as maintainance grade superior specialist or manager as well as for another development their qualifications in the further study.

Profile of the programme academical
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The graduates are the academically educated specialists implementing requirements deposit to the analytical chemists in the industry, agriculture, medicine practices and also in the elementary and application research. They are able to respectively solve analytical problems and in creatively develop, involve and apply analytical procedures. They are able to communicate on the interdisciplinary level and participate in the solutions interdisciplinary research problems. Graduates are trained for further doctoral's degree studies of the chemistry or connection programme in our country or abroad.
