Key learning outcomes The graduates have complex knowledge in physical chemistry including knowledge and skills connected with molecular spectroscopy, electrochemistry, chemical structure and computational chemistry. The graduates are able to understand physico-chemical aspects of processes in a broad context and are able to adapt the acquired knowledge and skills onto particular scientific issues or onto the solution of issues in industrial practice. The graduate is able to present his/her scientific results and to work with up-to-date information technologies in this field.

Profile of the programme academical
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The graduate is qualified in the field of physical chemistry and applied physical chemistry. The pillar of the knowledge is formed by the fundaments from physico-chemical disciplines, which are extended specially to the field of surface and rheological properties of materials, electrochemistry, photochemistry, non-covalent interactions and catalysis. The absolvent can find employment in a wide range of professions aimed on physico-chemical aspects of processes, is required. Our grauates have already found employment on the positions of technologists in the production of API substances, drug formulation, as technologists of chemical processes or managers and employers of analytical and testing laboratories. A typical absolvent will find employment in all fields of interests, where research or production is based on physico-chemical methods. Particularly, it involves chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry, control and industrial laboratories, medicine and agriculture.
