Key learning outcomes The degree program is aimed at providing graduates of the master's degree program in sociology with skills for a qualified career in the field of sociology. Graduates obtain a detailed understanding of the key areas of both theoretical and applied knowledge and the ability to utilise the knowledge they have acquired in research, administrative, counselling and teaching practice. Apart from the focus on solving practical problems, another aim of the program is to refine students' thinking. An emphasis is also placed on graduates' ability to continue with self-education and develop their professional knowledge, practical skills and abilities.
