Key learning outcomes The aim of the linguistic studies is to master diachronic aspects (Language development, Old Slavic language, Typology of the Slavonic theorem), to become acquainted with the formal language and with its stylistic layers and functional styles of Russian writing. Literature disciplines focuses on contemporary literature. Students also acquire a theoretical knowledge of literary science and criticism. The aim is to reach the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Profile of the programme academical
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples Graduates of the programme will be well prepared to acquire the knowledge and skills from the fields of linguistics, literature, and translation. They will gain a deep understanding of Russian history, culture and literature, and a command of Russian on both the practical and the theoretical level, including a focus on technical texts. Graduates' level of communicative competence corresponds to C1 and they will find employment as translators and informative interpreters, in social and cultural institutions, translation agencies, institutions of lifelong learning, libraries, archives, free time institutions, and the media (with respect to their other field of study). They can also become teachers (if they complete a teaching certificate). The best graduates can further their studies in a doctoral programme.
