Key learning outcomes The aim of this study programme is to provide graduates with a good knowledge of the Japanese language, and a good understanding of Japanese modern history, and contemporary society, as well as economy, qualifying them for a successful career e.g. in private industry, state institutions and media.

Profile of the programme academical
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples After six semesters of an intensive language tuition, the graduates of Japanese for the Economic Practice have gained a good command of the Japanese language (including Business Japanese), the minimum of level N3 of the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test, and a good understanding of Japanese history, geography and contemporary society as well as good foundation in economic disciplines. This qualifies them for successful career especially in private industry, but also in state institutions as Japanese-speaking assistants or consultants, including job positions requiring, besides language abilities, also a university degree in economics.
