Key learning outcomes The master's study programme continues from the bachelor's degree programme of the same field of study. It expands the knowledge and refines the skills to document, analyse and interpret works of art of various historical eras. Additionally, students learn to evaluate works of art using historical, sociological, psychological and other approaches to determine the social and spiritual context. Students are assigned to conduct specialized research for a master's thesis, and are encouraged to lead independent research, evaluate other relevant scholarly works, examine data, and apply relevant research methods and tools to synthetize a text that proves the candidate's abilities to interpret works of art in various contexts. One of the major objectives is to apply a wider knowledge to the organizational, systematic and legal frameworks of art conservation, and to the competencies of diverse institutes involved in the conservation and management of art collections.
