Profile of the programme academical
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples The graduates of follow-up Master's programme in Czech Philology are capable of independent scientific approach to linguistic and literary issues, and are therefore prepared for professional occupations such as publishing editors, editors of cultural sections of periodicals, correctors and textual critics. The graduates can apply for scientific positions in academic institutions as well as for teaching positions of both subjects, since the structure and specialization of the studies provides them with knowledge and skills required. The university conducts also educational programme for teaching qualification, which in combination with studies of Czech Philology allows students to apply as pedagogical workers.
