Course content
Working with chemical literature - primary, secondary, and tertiary sources. Structure of diploma thesis. Structure of scientific article. Citing of literature sources. Fundamentals of the internet sources. Searching the internet for information sources. Databases of chemical literature. Chemical literature on the internet. Recherche using the internet.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to learn to work with literature.
Analyze information, outline the solution of model problems, categorize information and make bibliographic search
The knowledge of basics of general, organic, anorganic, physical and analytical chemistry is recommended.The knowledge of working on PC.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

colloquium- successful submission of bibliographic search or citation of a literary source and discussion about selected theme from the field of chemical literature.
