Course content
1. introduction - basic terms, characterization of chemical production, raw materials and modifications, survey of important minerals, ecological aspects of chemical production, waste-free technologies 2. processes and arrangement of chemical technology, types of operations (mechanic, thermal, diffuse, fluid) 3. automation of chemical reactions, inorganic technology 4. technology of water, technical gases 5. metallurgy; production of iron, steel and selected metals, alloys, powder metallurgy 6. sulfur industry, production of nitrogen and derivatives 7. fabrication of sodium chloride; production of NaOH, Na2CO3 and related inorganic compounds 8. electro-thermal processes 9. industrial fertilizers, inorganic pigments 10. technology of silicates, photographic industry 11. semi- and supra-conductors, nuclear fuel

Learning outcomes
The lecture Industrial inorganic chemistry is designed for advanced students of all chemistry qualifications and it deals with analysis of selected inorganic chemistry technologies.
Ability to describe selected important inorganic technologies
