Course content
Every day of practice consists from: 1. Training on the clinical ward or outpatient department or operating theatre. Also phantom training is included. 2. Discussion about the patient examined during the practice. 3. Lectures

Learning outcomes
Introduce the student to the fundamental principles of general surgery; acquire basic theoretical knowledge and the ability to perform basic surgical procedures (treatment of wounds, resuscitation).
After semester completion, the student will be able to examine a surgical patient, will be oriented in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and will be ready to further expand his knowledge based on professional practices and views.
