Course content
Students learn about the basic sources of information on drugs used in medical practice. General pharmacology: students become familiar with the principles of the effects of drugs on the human organism. Special pharmacology: students are provided with an overview of individual groups of drugs and their therapeutics effects and side effects, with a special focus on drugs and compounds using in the radiology practice.

Learning outcomes
The student will gain knowledge about the basic sources of information on drugs used in medical practice. General pharmacology: student will become familiar with the principles of the effects of drugs on the human organism. Special pharmacology: students will be familiarise with an overview of individual groups of drugs and their therapeutics effects and side effects, with a special focus on drugs and compounds using in the radiology practice.
The students will be able to apply the knowledge about drug forms, the use and safety of drugs in radiology practice.
Prerequisites
Completion all of prescribed exams.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Active participation in all seminars.
