Course content
The seminars put stress on clinical issues related to those cardiovascular diseases in which rehabilitation may play a significant role, with respect to borderline and pathophysiologically and clinically ambiguous conditions. Current options and algorithms for care in life-threatening conditions, context for subacute rehabilitation approach. Information about the so-called reflex chest pain.

Learning outcomes
A knowledge of modern cardiology to the extent necessary for non-medical professionals, with a focus on prevention of cardiovascular diseases (especially on physical activity), fundamental diagnostics of cardiovascular diseases and providing first aid in common practice.
After completing the subject the student is able to implement the gained knowledge in a diagnostic-therapeutic approach to patients with cardiological diagnoses.
Prerequisites
High school knowledge of biology.
