Course content
Test construction - validity, reliability, practicality. Types of tests and their functions. Tests with regard to the age and level of proficiency of learners. Tests as part of the curiculum. Communicative testing. Listening tests. Reading tests. Writing tests. Speaking tests.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)

Learning outcomes
This course further develops students' knowledge and experience acquired in Methodology seminars. It primarily focuses on assessment and testing of different age groups with regard to the application of the Common Reference Levels as described in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It also aims at providing opportunities for students to develop, construct and analyze their own language tests.

Dialog, Seminar Work

1. attendance - at least 80% (70% in case of ISP). 2. according to specific instructions, each student must construct one type of test, pilot and assess it. Then hand in a report that will be defended at a final presentation.
