Course content
An overview of the most important moments of British and American history and their relationships to the present-day situation. As this is a seminar, students are expected to study the topics for the class beforehand to be able to analyze primary sources and discuss matters. Further emphasis is given to some areas of contemporary life of English speaking countries, mainly Great Britain and the USA. At home student work in LMS.

Learning outcomes
Providing an overview of the most important moments of British and American history and their relationships to the present-day situation.
Ability to study in English.
Prerequisites
Understanding a lecture and communicating in English.

Mark, Written exam, Essay, Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Dialog

Students are set homework all through the term; they are supposed to have a short presentation in class or hand in an essay at the end of the term. Active participation, with all tasks being fulfilled through e-learning, is the condition for getting a credit for the seminars.
