Course content
Characteristics of sports games based on the analysis of favourable and unfavourable properties that distinguish sports games from other sports. Individual and team game performance and its diagnostics. Practical didactic process as a system-based element of school physical education and sports training - to be collectively identified as the training process. Technology of the training process. Leadership activities of the teacher/coach.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduce to the students the basic concepts and knowledge from the area of theory and didactics of sports games with an emphasis on school physical education, sports training and various forms of leisure recreation activities. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the students acquire new knowledge from the area of theory of didactics of spots games and are able to apply this knowledge in an educational context of physical education, sport and physical recreation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Didactic Test

Active participation in seminars and lectures, seminar paper, knowledge test, oral examination.
