Learning outcomes
Anthropology - the science of man - is the science of investigating the relationship and interaction between people and culture, when we examine the influence of culture on the biology of humans. It combines the exploration of physical factors and culture. History of Anthropology focuses on the development of anthropology. It gives a very abbreviated picture of the development of this science. First, we look at the development of anthropological thought in ancient and medieval times, then we will focus on the 19 century, when created modern anthropology. Because development was not one-sided, we will here the basic areas where modern anthropology emerged, including representatives of a brief description of their anthropological focus.
After studying this discipline, you should be able to: - Define historical anthropology - Describe the sources of historical anthropology - Analyze sources in relation to the history of anthropology
Prerequisites
To handle discipline is required to have knowledge of general education, general psychology, philosophy, sociology at university studies and history at the high school level.
