Introduction to Biology . Basics of cytology. Definitions cells . Size and shape of cells. Structure of the cell . The life span of cells. Cell division. Fundamentals of Human Genetics . Subject of genetics. The development of genetics. The genetic makeup of a person. Types of inheritance. Genetic risk factors of the external environment . Prenatal diagnosis and genetic counseling. Examination of the child. Evaluation of the general condition of the child. Growth curves and their significance for the development and assessment of the proportionality of the child. Ontogenetic development. Prenatal period. Ontogenetic development. The perinatal period . Ontogenetic development. The neonatal period . Ontogenetic development. Infancy . Ontogenetic development. Toddler period. Ontogenetic development. Pre-school age . Ontogenetic development. Younger and older school age . Ontogenetic development. Period Adolescent age ( adolescence) . Puberty . Ontogenetic development. Another period of human life - the period of full maturity , maturity , middle age and old age.

Learning outcomes
Knowledge of anatomical and morphological structure of pre-school age and younger school age. Physiological processes in a child's organism.
The content of the course builds on the basic knowledge of the subject of biology at secondary schools about the structure of the human body and assumes knowledge of terminology secondary human biology. Curriculum briefly describes the structure of some organic compounds, which are necessary to understand the basics of genetics and physiology of the system, then focuses on the Revision of basic genetic concepts. It is developed in the most common problems of hereditary diseases, prenatal diagnosis, genetic counseling and genetic testing.
