Course content
topics for consultations Histology - the origin and development of tissues, general characteristics of individual types. Ossification, growth and remodelling of bones, bone age. Nerve tissue Body as a whole. Anatomical terminology, topics for self-study Cell as a basic unit of a living substance. Epithelial tissue. Connective tissues. Muscle tissue. Bodily fluids. General theory of bones, bone connections. Axial skeleton. Upper extremity skeleton and joints. Lower extremity skeleton and joints. Skull. Upper extremity muscles. Lower extremity muscles. Head and neck muscles.

Learning outcomes
The course Human Anatomy 1 aims to develop, consolidate and intensify students? knowledge about the structure of a healthy human body. It includes cytology, histology anatomy of body systems. At the same time it also deals with issues of ontogenetic development in relation to the development of individual organ systems.
Students will get an overview of the structure of the human body and be able to describe the human skeleton, muscles of the head, neck, torso and extremities.
Prerequisites
For completion of this course are expected a good knowledge of general biology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Oral exam

Ability to work independently with data and printed literary sources, on-line connection, elaboration of one seminar thesis.
