Learning outcomes
Public law for Socio-medical workers is conceived as a series of lectures in addition to familiarize students an introduction to the study of law, the fundamental disciplines of public law, ie constitutional law, criminal and administrative law. In addition, the discipline includes the method of application of a public law in court proceedings.
After completing the course, students should be able to: - explain and describe the concept of the state citizen and understand the problems of acquisition and loss of nationality and international protection - understand the problems of constitutional law, explain and characterize its term, fundamentals of legal regulation, the basic principles, explain and describe the concept of the constitution, constitutional order, democratic rule of law, state power and its division, understand the problems of functioning and relationships of legislative, executive and judicial powers, legislative process and the presidential election - explain and describe the concept of human rights, understand the problems of development of legal protection, their division, the tools of legal protection enshrined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms and understand the problems of individual constitutional complaint - understand the problems of criminal law, explain and characterize its term, the fundamentals of legal regulation, basic principles and institutions, understand the problems of punishing crimes and misdemeanors - understand the problems of juvenile criminal law, explain and characterize its term, the fundamentals of legal regulation, basic principles and institutions, understand the problems of punishment of criminal acts committed by children - understand the problems of criminal proceedings, its basic principles, procedural institutes and stages - understand the problems of administrative law, explain and characterize its term, fundamentals of legal regulation, basic principles and institutions, explain and describe the concept of public administration and public administrative bodies, understand the problem of the Czech public administration organization, the powers and competence of public administration and activities of public authorities - understand the problems of administrative proceedings, its basic principles, procedural institutes and stages - understand the problems of school law, explain and characterize its term, fundamentals of legal regulation and legal principles, understand the problems of the educational system, preschool, elementary, secondary and higher vocational education, the school register and educational facilities and facilities for institutional and protective education
