Learning outcomes
The objective of this discipline is a detailed analysis of the content of the Czech social security law. Graduated students will master the basics of editing all major social events under the relevant legislation. These include: social (pension) insurance, health insurance, public health insurance, social assistance, social assistance, employment support, organization and structure of social security tasks bodies and organizations active in the social security and legal status of migrants in the EU.
After completing the course, students should be able to define and characterize: the concept of social security, welfare state, social policy, social event the notion of social security rights, term health insurance, its importance, the fundamental principles of the legal relationship of health insurance, personal insurance range, the substantive scope of coverage, conditions of entitlement to health insurance benefits and the concept of temporary incapacity term pension insurance, its importance, basic principles, legal relations pension insurance, personal insurance range, types of pensions, conditions of entitlement to pension benefits organizations in the field of health and pension insurance and management in the field of health and pension insurance the concept of public health insurance, its importance, the fundamental principles of the legal relations of public health insurance, personal insurance range, the rights and obligations of the insured and premium payers, the conditions for providing health care and be well informed about the existence and functioning of health insurance the notion of social security premiums and contributions to the state employment policy and health insurance the concept of social support, the importance of basic principles, legal relations of state social support, personal scope, types of social welfare benefits, conditions for entitlement to state benefits and understand the problems of organization and management in the provision of social welfare benefits the concept of social assistance, the importance of basic principles, legal relations of social assistance, personal scope, types of social assistance, the conditions for entitlement to benefits in material need and understand the problems of organization and management in the provision of assistance in material distress the notion of subsistence levels and the application of social security the concept of social services, their importance, basic principles, legal relations of social services, personal scope, the concept of a user and provider of social services, care allowance, the conditions for entitlement to care allowance, cutting social services, registration of social service providers, social services inspection, qualification requirements for social service workers, contract for the provision of social services, payment for the provision of social services, and understand the problems of organization and management in the provision of care allowance term benefits for people with disabilities, their significance, basic principles, legal relationships, personal scope, types of benefits, conditions for entitlement to benefits and understand the problems of organization and management in the provision of benefits and identity cards for persons with disabilities
