Course content
<ul> <li> Types of luminescence, Jablonski diagram of organic molecules <li> Quantum-chemical methods of calculation of chlorophyll molecule and interpretation of absorption spectra <li> Fluorescence, phosphorescence and delayed light emissions of chlorophylls in the model systems <li> Fluorescence of chlorophyll a, b and carotenoids <li> Parameters of in vivo fluorescence <li> Emission and excitation spectra at different temperatures, their interpretation and usage <li> Fluorescence re-absorption and its quantification <li> Fluorescence transients (very fast, fast and slow fluorescence transients) <li> QB-reducing/QB-non-reducing, alpha/beta and other types of photosystem II centers <li> Fluorescence extinction - photochemical and non-photochemical extinction <li> Parameters determined from fluorescence induction curves and from induction of extinction and their interpretation <li> Fluorescence temperature curve, its phase, parameters and their interpretations <li> Fluorescence kinetics in ps- and ns-time range, lifetime <li> Polarization and coherence of chlorophyll fluorescence <li> Experimental methods of measurements of particular parameters of chlorophyll fluorescence </
