Course content
1. Basic laws on metrology, dividing of problems of measurement according the metrology law. 2. Principles, set by implementing regulation on compliance of unity and trueness of measuring instruments and measurements. 3. Branch dividing of measuring instruments according the regulation on determination of measuring instruments to compulsory verification and measuring instruments under type approval. 4. Regulation on base measurement units and other units and on theirs symbols. 5. Measuring instruments from point of view of metrology law, principles of state lagal control, metrological traceability, type approval, verification and calibration, reference material certification, 6. State administration authotities, acting in metrology, tasks and duties within the national metrology system. 7. International organizations acting in field of technical standardization, metrology and state testing, relations to national metrology authorities. 8. Quality standards ISO 9000, principles and ideas, scope of activity, application in metrology - measurements managements accorging ISO 10012, ISO/IEC 17025 and others. 9. Fundamentals of measurement management according CSN EN ISO 10012:2003, Measurement management systems - Requirements for measurement processes and measuring equipment. 10. Fundamentals of measurement management according CSN EN ISO/IEC 17025, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. 11. Aplication of quality standards ISO 9000 and measurement managements into the problems of enterprises metrology, general principles of unity and trueness of measuring instruments, metrological confirmation, organization a management of enterprise metrology, economic and personal aspects of enterprise metrology.

Learning outcomes
The point is to explain the metrology legislation, the national metrology system, the aplication of quality standards ISO 9000 to metrology departments and the principles of enterprise metrology.
