Course content
The lecture will introduce significant examples of artists interest in science and scientists about art, the cross-roads of art and science during the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Another part of the issue show students the ability of work of art to communicate the essential facts about the world and man from the 19th century to the present. The last part of the course will be given to cases of such events, when art deserved of scientific knowledge, and others when science contributed to outstanding works of art. The workshop will focus on discussion and exchange of ideas among teachers and students.

Learning outcomes
To give students an idea of the relations of art and sci-ence in the past and in the present: how art helps sci-ence and how science helps art.
Synthesis: Recognize the nature of interaction of the arts (painting, drawing, graphics, sculpture, arts and crafts) with scientific disciplines, particularly in the field of physics and technology. Propose new possibilities of cooperation between artistic and scientific disciplines. Summarize fruitful areas of cooperation between sci-ence and art of 16 to 21 century.
The interest in the arts, interested in the representation of reality, interest in the use of art in science and sci-ence in art.

Didactic Test, Dialog

Attendance at lectures and active participation in seminars, the knowledge of facts and intellectual principles in the program scope.
