Learning outcomes

The course is centered on the basic range of topics in philosophy of science of analytical tradition. The main topics are: syntactic and semantic philosophy of science (explanation, structure of theories, testability), the theory of scientific development (underdetermination, holism, postmodernism ad.), social sciences and humanities (objectivity, naturalism, normativity, interdisciplinarity ad.) In course will be read and analyzed the key classic and contemporary texts.
