Course content
Before the field trip, students undergo necessary study preparation on the theory of functioning of EU institutions. The field trio itself is aimed at visiting selected institutions in their location in Brussels (European Comission, European Parliament and other according to availability), and if possible, also in Luxembourg and/or Strasbourg. Students participate in the information merit of the field trip by their own active approach including discussions on selected topics with representatives of the Czech Republic in the EU institutions.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to broaden students' knowledge about the theory and practice of functioning of the institutions of the European Union. Students will participate in several discussions with Czech representatives at institutions of the European Union; another goal of the subject is to enhance the students' skills in working with and understanding specialised texts.
Students will have an overview of the theory and practice of functioning of the institutions of the European Union.
