Course content
- Assessment of accident frequency on roads - Vulnerable road users - Transport safety and methods of hazardous road location identification - Data - Critical transport infrastructure, road network vulnerability and robustness, road network risk assessment - Sustainable urban transportation, examples on non-motor transport support, active transportation

Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
The course gives insight into several fields of transportation research, specifically on traffic safety, assessment of hazardous locations and conflicts, road network vulnerability analyses, sustainable urban transport and active transportation.
Widening the understanding on the transportation.
Knowledge within the scope compulsory subjects that precede this subject in the study plan.
