Course content
The seminar focuses on the methodology and formal issues of bachelor thesis in the field of archaeology. The seminars will take place through direct teaching, and as well through consultations according to the needs of individual students and supervisors of their theses. Seminars: 1. and 2. Introduction - Methods of writing of professional work in a field of archaeology. 3. Choosing a topic of thesis and general guidelines for writing the thesis. 4. and 5. Procedure needed for the study of expert literature. 6. and 7. Creation of picture catallogues. 8. and 9. Creating of databases. 10. Guidelines for the final version of the bachelor thesis in field of archaeology. 11. and 12. Consultation with supervisor of the thesis. AD

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Homework for Teaching - 12 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 24 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The seminar will be devoted to the leading of undergraduate diploma thesis in the field of archeology and capabilities of its processing. AD
Student is able to start processing his thesis. AD
Prerequisites
Selected topic of bachelor thesis and basic orientation in the treated issues. AD

Student performance

Attendence in the lessons and consultations with thesis supervisor, choosing of topic of diploma work. AD
