Learning outcomes
The film, most powerful factor of creation of the historical conscience of the most of population, is to be seen as a alternative of historians´ work. In the winter semester the works are selected as the representation of the Russian Revolution of 1917. The schedule and the room where this course takes place is identical with the courses: KHI/XDF1, KHI/HOF1 and KCD/DFFD7. The first class takes place on the 5th of October. The courses will take place from 17:20 (5:20 pm) till 19:45 (7:45 pm) in the assembly hall (aula) of CMTF (Univerzitní 22, 2nd floor).
A student will be acguainted with the historical context of a film and historical events so that he will realise a significant role of the interpretation that forms the historical awareness. HF
Prerequisites
The basic knowledge of history. HF

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Didactic Test

Class participation (max 2 absence). An analysis of one of the films - a paper about 5 pages. A film for an analysis will be selected by the lecturer and students will be informed during the course.
