Course content
April 2015 (computer schoolroom): Briefing for students interested in the course, introduction to the history of the Premonstrian canonry in Teplá, briefing about the use of Powerpoint and photo editing. Second half of June 2015 - meeting with other members of the team, briefing about course schedule and organizational and methodical matters, introduction of participants into the area of the canonry and its history (including the history of the house and the order), tour around (farmyards, patronage churches and rectories, spa founded by the monastery).

Learning outcomes
The aim of this seminar is to introduce the Premonstratensian monastery complex in Teplá from three point of views: as a religious house, where monks live, pray and work; as a piece of art and as a monument, which gets its contemporary look during 9 centuries. Three groups of 4 participants will, along with lecturers, study individual buildings of canonry and its nearby area and what they will find they will present to other students. PZ
Student should learn how to approach a monument and its history in whole complexity. PZ
Prerequisites
12 students of BA single-major or double-major history, of archive studies or of archaeology - B class. C class for others. PZ
