Course content
1. Differential equations in Matlab: Solution of initial value problems and boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations, delay differential equations, solution of parabolic partial differential equations. 2. Sparse matrices in Matlab and their usage. 3. Matlab interface for programs in C.

Learning outcomes
To be able to solve differential equations in Matlab and use sparse matrices.
Knowledge Know to solve the differential equations and to use the sparse matrices in Matlab.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of linear algebra, differential equations and Matlab.
