Course content
During the course, students get acquainted with various software, especially text editors, spreadsheets and databases. Students solve various problems related to the administrative work of a teacher. They use advanced features of the software to manage the tasks. The ability to choose a suitable software tool is stressed. This course uses the results of the "Teaching Tools Creation" course. 1. Creating lists using Word. 2. Using mail merge tool for administration. 3. Creating large publications using Word. 4. Using advanced features in Excel in the school environment. 5. Using filters and database functions in Excel. 6. Preparation of teaching using PowerPoint. 7. Creating a database program Access. 8. Overview of other software suitable for teachers.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Attendace - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The students become familiar with basic concepts of software for teachers.
Apply applications to improve teachers work.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam

Active participation in class. Completion of assigned homeworks. Passing the oral (or written) exam.
