Course content
The course follows earlier courses (mathematics of algorithms, paradigms of programming, software laboratory, databases and information systems, computer graphics) and the course provides the skills necessary to understand and manage all stages of software creation. The main objective of the course is the analysis, design and implementation of a practical software project, which may be used for teaching at grammar schools. <ol> <li>Creating software for teaching. <li>Specification of the software. Each student chooses a project to work on. <li>Project specification. <li>Creating a vision. Analysis of the project and a study of the user interface. <li>Presentation of the vision in the seminar. </ol>

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Attendace - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The students become familiar with basic concepts of educational software development.
Apply obtained knowledge in making of didactic application.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Student performance

Active participation in class. Completion of assigned homeworks. Passing the written exam.
