Course content
Selected topics of mathematical analysis (eg, functions of one and two variables, graphs of functions). Numerical mathematics (eg computation with approximate numbers, interpolation of functions, approximation of roots of equations). Statistics (basic concepts). Students will attend three blocks of instruction during the semester in the range of 4 teaching units.

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the potential uses of IT tools for solving mathematical problems. In particular, the course contains selected topics of mathematical analysis, numerical mathematics and statistics.
Synoptic knowledge of mathematics in the range suitable for further study of Information Technologies in Education.
Prerequisites
The knowledge and skills of secondary school mathematics and the subject Mathematics 1.
