Learning outcomes
The course present methodical and systematic knowledge about project management and at the same time ensure that the students will be able to acquaint practical skills in this area as well. The knowledge about project management is crucial for succeeding in team leadership and organization of research, innovation, financial and event projects etc. Techniques and methods adopted during the course will be useful for the participants on many levels during their future careers. In the introductory part of the course students will learn about the goals of project management and the basic definitions of terms connected to the field. Student will be informed about the phases and realization of different types of projects starting with planning and ending with evaluation and lessons learned from a finished project.
The main goal of this course is to introduce the participants to the theory and practice of project management. The students will learn about the basic theories, principles, methods and will be able to prepare a successful project of their own on different levels. It is crucial for the course that students will be able to use their knowledge in the future in areas that use project management techniques (such as grantwriting, investments projects, new system application, marketing, event organizing, team leading etc.) The students shall also be able to understand the scope and functioning of project management, develop their individual and organizational skills, improve team work and team communication skills, cooperation on the solving of practical problems and tasks.

It is recommended to take part in the Fundraising course.
