Course content
The course focuses on the mastery of information technologies in the complex plane needs to work in various fields of education. It is primarily focused on working with office suite MS Office 2010/2013/2016, introduction to basic rules of safe work on the PC and on the Internet. Instruction is distance learning, students have access to distance learning support and opportunity for consultations. Discusses possibilities of using modern technologies in practice, with an emphasis on multimedia.

  • Attendace - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course aims at providing enough information and practical skills for introducing information technologies at schools. Relation of informatics and information technologies. Basic orientation in computer networks and the hardware and software of a PC. Didactic usage of a computer in a teacher's practice.
After completing the course, students should be able to efficiently use office suite of programs for creating theses, documentation and own teaching materials.

Basic knowledge of informatics and computer skills at secondary school level

Conditions to receive a credit: Elaboration of a semester project at the required level.
