Course content
The course deals with realization of more complex tasks from the field of applied graphic art (design of covers for music carriers, book jackets, own catalogue) where the students can utilize their skills from other disciplines (photography, graphics, painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.). Seminars also provide the basic practice of graphic SW (Adobe Photoshop).

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Projection (static, dynamic), Grafic and Art Activities
  • Attendace - 36 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 24 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course mainly focuses on understanding the interference between the image and text, work with bitmap images and related application possibilities. Searching for the own visual presentation of given themes.
Understanding the principles of bitmap images. Mastering the graphic SW (Adobe Photoshop).
Prerequisites
Pass the Typography and Graphic design I courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Seminar Work

Design and realization of the semestral work on the given theme, regular consultations, participation in seminars at least 80%.
