Course content
Getting acquainted with the subject, technological principles and history. Modelling simple vessels using basic techniques with pronounced creative accent. Small plastic - object on the given theme. Firing in electrical furnaces, glazing, clay washing and orientation to the ceramic operation. The education is completed with lectures from the subject technology and history including overview of the contemporary creative art scene.

Learning outcomes
The course objective is to stimulate and develop spatial imagination within the intention of material dispositions. Acquiring basic skills with potter's clay, glazes, instruments and equipment. Creative process from sketches to definitive realization in the material. Getting acquainted with the history and contemporary subject scene.
Ability to create a threedimensional object in diferent stiles. A basic knowledge of technology and history is required.
Imagination, skill, ability to transform ideas into ceramics material, interest of assignment. 80 percent of seminar attendance.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)

Ability to transform the creative image in a three-dimensional artwork. Creating a variable collection of mutually cooperating parts within the uniform concept of the creative idea. Regular consultations on the proposal, participation in seminars at least 80%. Seminar work from a selected historical era. Individual activities on tasks outside the studio education, responsibility for the entrusted space.
