Course content
Introduction to scientific method and methodology of research, overview of methods and techniques of research, strong and weak points of selected methods and techniques, model of empirical science, phases of empirical research, hypothesis, verification and falsification, operationalization, measurement, validity, reliability, experiment in clinical research, general approach in hypothesis testing (test and coefficient application) results generalization and research report.

Learning outcomes
To give students some information about the basic research project scheme, terms population and sample, sample processing. Students will learn basic principles about the probability theory and will be introduced into descriptive and inductive statistics of qualitative and quantitative events.
After finishing the training students will understand the research project logic, will be able to define a research project, understand the relation of theory to a research process, to understand links in data analysis and to know to implement obtained information in self processing of simple statistical tasks.
Students ought to have fundamental attainments in mathematics and statistics at the secondary education level.
