Course content
To familiarize students with the basic knowledge in branches: general biophysics, molecular biophysics, biophysics of cell and biopotentials, ECG, biophysics of tissues and organs, biomechanics of bones and joints, muscle contraction, biomechanics of blood circuit, gas exchange between external and internal environment, biophysics of perception, essentials of ecological biophysics, and physical principles of homeostasis.

Learning outcomes
To familiarize students with the basic knowledge in branches: general biophysics, molecular biophysics, biophysics of cell and biopotentials, ECG, biophysics of tissues and organs, biomechanics of bones and joints, muscle contraction, biomechanics of blood circuit, gas exchange between external and internal environment, biophysics of perception, essentials of ecological biophysics, and physical principles of homeostasis.
The students will understand basic biophysical principles of physiological and pathological processes in human organism and be able to utilize the knowledge at the consequential study of clinical and nurse branches. They will be able to explain basic action mechanisms of selected physical factors on life systems.
Prerequisites
Students ought to have fundamental biology and physics attainments at the secondary education level.
