Information sources for stomatology. Bibliometry for quality measurement of information. The fundamentals of biomedical statistics. Office software capability and its application conditions. Image information processing. Specialized software for dental medicine. Principles of documents creation. Image and X-ray picture analysis. Technology in medicine - introductory information. New trends in computer technology. Principles and technologies of computer networks, internet structure, internet services, security. Documents creation, styles, templates, structured documents. Web contain production, basic structure, simple elements, difficult elements, advanced elements, styles, web applications, CMS, Wiki, blogs. Database systems, introduction, principles, proposal, tables, relation, queries. Hospital information system. Practical applications of acquired knowledge on the internet.

Introduction of the basic terms in the field of artificial intelligence and its application in medicine. Internet utilization in medicine. Expert systems including neurons nets. Biological processes modelling. Processing and analysis of image information. For interested students, extend basic knowledge acquired in tutorials of medical biophysics for the 1st year study. Familiarize students with most modern methods of medical information processing.
The students will be able to work with computer and use it for data acquisition and medical information processing.
Students ought to have advanced attainments in informatics and computer technology.
