Course content
1. Engineering design of the optical system in thin lenses. 2. Third-order optical aberrations. 3. Engineering design of doublet and triplet in the area of ??the third order. 4. Structural design of mirror systems in the area of ??the third order. 5. Structural design of diffractive optical and hybrid systems. 6. Structural analysis of optical systems in different spectral regions. 7. Optical materials. 8. Prisms and polygons in optical design. 9.Polarization aberration and polarization structure systems. 10. Optimization methods. 11.Construction multikonfiguračních systems. 12. Patents optical systems.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 25 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Provide students with basic knowledge on the procedures for the design of optical systems (refractive, reflective, diffractive and hybrid), that will allow them to independently design optical systems using specialized optical software.
The ability to computationally analyze the quality of optical systems and methods for their design knowledge in various manufacturing technologies.
Knowledge of the structure and quality of optical systems-level course OPT/OPR.
