Course content
1. Determination of the field of study, literature, application fields, names 2. Summary of the basic research topics 3. Psychological issue of migration 4. Psychological issues of asylum applicants 5. Conditions for work in the cross cultural situations 6. Selected techniques for work with the cross cultural team 7. National cultures 8. Leading of the cross cultural team and experience with international business 9. Research about children from different social and cultural environment 10. Cross cultural psychopathology 11. Transitional rituals

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Semestral Work - 20 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 4 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 26 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The introduction to the basic theoretical concepts, to the researches of the cross cultural psychology and to their possibilities of application. The students get abilities for the cross cultural training. The course contains the discussions with the professionals experienced in the cross cultural field.
The students are well informed about the basic theoretical concepts and the research of the cross cultural psychology. They have abilities to apply their knowledge into practice. The students get abilities for the cross cultural training.
Prerequisites
This course is for the Master's Degree students who completed courses of the Social psychology, the Clinic psychology and the Interactive Psychological Training. The students have to complete those courses before they can start the Cross Cultural Psychology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

Each student has to prepare and present specifics of psychological work with chosen ethnic group.
